Nicole Cherubini
September 25 – December 20, 2019
Opening Reception: Friday, October 4th, 6-8 pm
In her current exhibition, stacked, Nicole Cherubini continues to explore the presence and purpose of an object and what it means to occupy a space. With her new works layered to allow for more sections to be dissected and reconfigured, Cherubini creates infinite possibilities for her audience to examine the history and subsequent development of an aesthetic. Cherubini approaches her works as objects and places considered within history and its ability to rework, reform and possibly repair it.
A concurrent solo exhibition at Derek Eller Gallery will run from November 14 – December 22, 2019.
