For her new project Blue Hour, Adriana Farmiga presents a site-specific installation comprised of oil-on-panel diptychs and a freestanding plywood sculpture. At the core of the project is the notion of liminality: the state of being in between, or of being neither/nor. Through the visual language of sunsets and urban construction, dualities and oppositions break open, giving way to a tempered and unresolved balance of possibilities.
